Stage 1: Usability Audit

Conducting a comprehensive usability audit to identify key areas for improvement.

The project began with an in-depth usability audit of existing chronic health management apps. This included heuristic evaluation, user interviews, and performance analytics to pinpoint friction points and areas needing enhancement. The audit highlighted significant improvements needed in user navigation, data tracking, and personalized health insights.

Stage 2: Design Strategy

Developing a strategic design plan to enhance user experience and health management efficiency.

A redesign strategy was formulated to prioritize a seamless user flow, improved data visualization, and personalized health management features. A detailed design roadmap was created, categorizing changes into short-term improvements and long-term enhancements to ensure a structured and effective redesign process.

Stage 3: Prototype Development

Creating wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to visualize the new design.

Wireframing: Redesigned the core app screens and user flows based on audit findings, focusing on creating an intuitive and user-friendly journey that simplifies health management.

High-Fidelity Prototyping: Leveraged Adobe XD to develop detailed prototypes that brought the new design to life. These prototypes showcased a refined aesthetic that aligns with users’ needs, demonstrating enhanced functionality and interactivity.

Stage 4: User Interface Design

Revamping the app’s visual identity to improve engagement and usability.

Revamped the app’s visual identity by incorporating calming colors and intuitive elements that encourage users to engage with their health management actively. Carefully selected typography and iconography resonate with the app’s target demographic, ensuring the interface is both appealing and functional.

Stage 5: Testing and Iteration

Conducting usability testing and refining the app based on feedback.

Usability testing was conducted with a diverse group of users to gather feedback on the new design. Iterative improvements were made based on this feedback to fine-tune the app’s functionality and user experience.
